My alarm did not ring

Allow notifications: Settings > Notifications > Pretty Timer. The alarm is a notification, so it needs this.
Check the side switch and volume. If the phone is on silent, the alarm is silent too.
Check Focus and Do Not Disturb. They can hide notifications.

The alarm rang again after I swiped it away

When a timer ends, the alarm rings and repeats a few times. Swiping the notification away only silences that one ring. To stop the repeats, open the app and tap Stop or Dismiss.

Where are my timers stored?

Only on your phone, never with us. Deleting the app deletes them. See the privacy policy.
